Salem has come a long way since the witch hunts in it's distant past. The people of the sleepy town in Massachusetts are not always what they seem. The town is the home of one of the fastest growing populations of supernatural beings. Witches, Shifters, Vampires and Faeries all call this city home. Just inside the forest, the faerie mounds call home all those fae who desire a new home. The WereWolf pack is one of the fastest growing on the eastern seaboard and the Master of the City greats you into her chilly embrace. With the supernatural world officially out of the closet, it is no wonder they have begun to flock together. And what better place than the home that they were once shunned from.
Harvest Moon is an original supernatural being community based in Salem, MA. It is set in a time where the world while by and large does not always accept supernatural beings, does know that they exist. The US government has allowed Vampires to become citizens, werewolves are no longer allowed to be hunted without justification, and the faeries have come back out of hiding. We have taken a blend of different genres of book series and mixed them with folklore and original ideas to come up with the basis for our beings, please read the guidelines when creating your characters. (Also, we will not be accepting your Edward Cullens or Stefan Salvatores. In our world, vampires do not sparkle, nor can they survive off of animal blood. If they do not wish to feed from a vein, they can purchase blood from blood banks. )
